The Nike SB Day One represents the first skate shoe by Nike that has been crafted from the ground up specifically with kids in mind. Its skate-specific tread and Zoom Air unit are engineered to provide the necessary grip and cushioning required for continuous skating and mastering new tricks. Additionally, the inclusion of mesh in the upper part of the shoe ensures breathability, while durable suede overlays allow for an easy break-in process, contributing to the flick and feel cherished by young skaters.

We know how important it is to be able to feel the board under your feet—it's what helps you control your board. The lighter and more flexible the shoe, the better the boardfeel. With that in mind, Nike pulled out as much excess foam as we could from these shoes to reduce their overall weight and increase their flexibility.

DURABLE AND BREATHABLE
Durable suede overlays break in easily to help give you that flick and feel you love. Mesh adds breathability so you never have to end your skate session early because of hot feet.
