The Men's Burton 50th '85 Powdershell 3L Jacket goes back to Burton's earliest days making snowboard outerwear. Inspired by the original Powdershell Jacket from 1985, it pays tribute to the gear worn by early riders like Andy Coghlan and Mark Heingartner when snowboarders were still fighting for access to the mountain.
Burton stayed true to the look and feel of the original while rebuilding it with modern 3-layer performance fabric. With 20K waterproofing, 20K breathability, fully taped seams, and water-resistant YKK zippers, this is a legitimate technical shell underneath all that '80s styling. The relaxed fit leaves room to layer, while pit zips and a removable hood make it easy to adjust for changing conditions.
