Shipping Rates

  • We cover shipping on orders over $99 (U.S. only; excludes oversized items).
  • Other shipping rates are calculated based on your destination at checkout.

Return Policy

You may return full-priced items within 30 days of receiving your order. After 30 days, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Sale items may be returned within 14 days of receiving your order and will incur a 15% restocking fee to cover processing costs.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging.
  • We must be able to resell returned items. If you wouldn’t be satisfied receiving the item in the condition you’re returning it, at the same price you originally paid, it is not eligible for return.

If returning an item over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within five days and credited to your original payment method.
  • If a return is rejected due to policy violations, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to you.
  • You are responsible for shipping costs to and from our store.
  • Any actual shipping costs we incurred will be deducted from your refund. We do not seek to profit from shipping—our goal is fairness for both parties.

We do not issue refunds without receiving the returned items in unused condition.

We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns due to factors outside our control, such as:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address provided
  • Insufficient or uninsured postage
  • Package theft

Our responsibility for an order ends once it is picked up by the carrier.


Restocking Fees

  • Sale items: 15% restocking fee to cover operational expenses and lost time for resale.
  • Full-priced snowboard items: Returns made after January 31st may incur a 15% restocking fee.

We are a small team and do our best to keep policies fair. Processing, relisting, and inventory management take time and resources.

💡 Example: If you’re unsure of your Vans snowboard boot size, purchasing with the intention of returning them may not be the most cost-effective option. Consider purchasing directly from the manufacturer or a warehouse retailer instead.


Sale Items

Sale items are those priced below the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP).

  • Sale item prices end in __.00.
  • Full-priced items end in __.95.

Exchanges

If you need a different item, we recommend:

  1. Purchasing the new item from our website.
  2. Shipping back the unwanted item as soon as possible.
  3. We will issue a refund once the returned item is received and processed.

Shoe Orders & Packaging

We ship as eco-friendly and economically as possible.

If you prefer your shoebox to be shipped inside another box instead of a soft pack mailer or kraft paper, please email ben@peopleskateandsnowboard.com after placing your order. Include your order number.

  • Additional packaging costs ($5–$10) will be invoiced via PayPal.
  • We cannot guarantee that shoeboxes will arrive in perfect condition. They often arrive from the manufacturer with minor imperfections, which are outside our control.
  • If the condition of the shoebox is critically important, call us—we’ll verify and provide pictures if necessary.

🔹 We do not offer compensation for damaged shoeboxes.
