Polar Summer 2017 drop
Polar Skate Co just dropped their latest offerings for summer 2017 and they are moving quick! Rad designs and colors, sportswear-inspired high-quality materials, fit and finish, as well as unique and original pieces. We wouldn't expect anything less from Polar Skate Co. The clothing is made in the EU under rigorously high standards.
This season has got a few surprises in it as well, such as the Polar Beach Shorts in navy and The Polar Beach shorts in black. These are similar to a swim trunk but function as regular shorts as well, perfect for those sweltering hot days when you go skating and swimming thereafter.
The Polar Roman Tee in navy is a stand-out garment with horizontal stripes and crew neck striped detail. For the more fashion forward The Polar Striped Rib tee features a classic sportswear mockneck striped collar with center chest embroidery. We have the '91 longsleeve in dusty rose, as well as a '91 striped longsleeve in navy/blue both are solid pieces that are more interesting than a standard t-shirt and feature premium heavyweight jersey.
For the summer 17 line they brought back the ever-popular Polar Surf Pants in black and The Polar Surf Pant in navy but returned to no embroidery at the pocket. In the pant department the Polar Cargo Pant in black has been going off and are now in a ripstop fabrication. These baggy, stretchy, lightweight pants are a mix between work pants and sweatpants, providing the durability of cotton work pants with the comfort of a cinch-drawstring waist. Baggy and comfy, these are a crowd pleaser amidst an endless sea of pants that don't move as much as you'd like them to.
As always, Polar has some water-resistant outerwear to offer for when the summer isn't so summer. The Polar Anorak jacket in lavender is eye catching, and is coated in a water-resistant spray with a mesh liner and a zip pouch in the front for keeping your and various possessions warm and dry from wind and rain. The washed-up mockneck is an excellent layer to wear underneath.
Lots of soft, summer pastels in this line, such as all these happy/sad socks in seafoam and powder blue.
