The Palace Detroit 313 Magazine documents nearly eight years of Palace Skateboards filming, skating, and spending time in Detroit. What started as trips to make a skate video turned into something much bigger. Across more than 40 days of filming and documenting the city, the Palace crew became more than visitors, forming lasting friendships and becoming part of the Detroit skate community.
The 200-page magazine features photography from Alex Pires and the Palace team, along with an exclusive interview with Detroit musician John FM. Seven different limited-edition covers were produced, each housed in a custom slipcase.
Detroit legend Justin Bohl played a huge role in making the project possible, serving as the crew's tour guide, cat wrangler, spot builder, fixer, and connection to the city throughout the years.
This will forever go down as part of Detroit Skateboarding lore.
