The Vans Invado OG Snowboard Boot is one of the relatively few hybrid lace snowboard boots on the market, combining the look and adjustability of traditional laces with the added heel hold of BOA. It's a great setup for riders who like laces but wouldn't mind a little help getting their heel locked into place.
Vans' Hybrid BOA Fit System uses traditional laces for the main closure while a BOA dial controls tension across the instep. The Custom Slide Guide directs that tension where it's most useful for heel hold, letting the BOA system do the hard work while traditional laces control the overall feel of the boot.
With a 4–6 flex, the Invado OG has a forgiving, versatile feel suited to everything from park and street riding to cruising groomers. Inside, the V1 UltraCush liner has a dual-density heat-moldable core and Comfort Flex neoprene toe box that gradually shapes to your foot as the boot breaks in. The V1 Harness adds additional ankle support and heel retention.
A V1 PopCush footbed provides cushioning and impact protection, while Heat Retention 360° adds insulation around the toes. The V1 Waffle Lug outsole uses Vans All-Trac cold-weather rubber for traction while maintaining good boardfeel.
