The Lobster Freestyle

The FREESTYLE BAORD is Lobster’s take on a freeride cruiser…. That just means that it is a balls-to-the-wall freestyle machine that can also ride piste and powder! It still slays rails, park jumps and backcountry kickers, but the board is now super stable for charging around. Destroy everything, at high speed! TWIN TBT has a narrower centre flat section and steeper angles than PARK and JIB TBT, so the FREESTYLE BAORD is more agile on edge changes, floats better in deep snow and is even more forgiving. The WOOD core is reinforced with hardwood along the insert rows for extra strength and dynamite pop. The core is wrapped in Tri-Ax laminate layers for a more snappy response and better pop. This gives the FREESTYLE BAORD a mid flex overall, allowing it to hold a line through bombed out landings and shitty powder fields. The sintered base is nice and fast, making sure you have the speed you need! The Freestyle board wont make you shred like Halldor, but it might give you the confidence to try.

The Lobster Youngblood:

The Helgasons send it. Everything is always all in. Be it huge pop or certified presses, it’s hammers everywhere. With younger guys and girls coming through with the skills to follow the boys, but not enough height or weight to dominate their boards, we decided to make a board just for them. This isn’t a kids’ board and it isn’t an adult’s board. It’s a YOUTH BOARD! The trimmed down JIB TBT starts inside the inserts and carries on to the nose and tail. A wide flat section in the centre of the base and relaxed angles on the TBT makes presses and slides super stable. TBT is more forgiving than traditional camber and more responsive than a rocker. This means fewer catches on the rails and a board that is as forgiving as possible for learning new tricks on. Our FLEX core is soft enough to give sick bend on board slides, but tough enough to stick it. Bi-Ax layers around the core keep the flex super soft for certified presses and an extruded base makes for easy repairs when the street bites back. The construction is completed with ‘thick’ edges. Like the name says, they are thick…. For bashing rails. If you are a youth (or know a youth) who wants to send it like never before, but is too small or light for the other boards in the range, then this is the board to get on the Helgason’s training program. With the sizes, flexes, laminates and TBT tweaked to be perfect for younger, teenage riders, the YOUTH BOARD will allow the youth to progress. FAST!

The Lobster Park Board:

Where do you reckon the PARKBAORD is supposed to be ridden? Hell yeah! On groomers! Haha. Nah, it’s made for riding the whole park and you can even throw it down some street rails and powder runs if you like! PARK TBT begins outside the bindings, is slightly wider and has somewhat steeper angles than JIB TBT. This makes the PARKBAORD as lively as a trapeze artist on edge changes. It also floats better in powder and its edges catch less often on butters and landings. Add in a true twin shape with Bi-Ax layers and we get a mid-soft flex board that is good on both rails and jumps as well as on piste and off it! The WOOD core is reinforced with hardwood inserts in the poplar core. These run along the insert rows, nose to tail, strengthening the core and giving explosive pop. As well as helping your pop out, they also stiffen the profile for stable landings, smooth carves and float in the powder. A sintered base gives all the speed you will ever need. Like riding the whole park. Plus extras? Get on the PARKBOARD. Then eat kebab and headbang for a happy ending.

The Lobster Jib Board:

Lobster’s JIBBBAORD is made with one thing in mind: sliding down metal and landing in the street. It’s also ultra fun for cruising and buttering about, but that’s just a bonus. JIB TBT starts inside the inserts and carries on to the nose and tail, so your edge catches less when you zeach and you face plant less. A wide flat section in the centre of the base and relaxed angles on the TBT makes presses and slides super stable. TBT is more forgiving than traditional camber and more responsive than a rocker. This means that you can get even more confident and progress faster. Getting washed out on landings and skidding out on ice less. And it goes all in on the rails too, just check Eiki's tricks at junkyard! Our FLEX core is soft enough to give sick bend on board slides, but tough enough to stick it. Bi-Ax layers around the core keep the flex super soft for certified presses and an extruded base makes for easy repairs when the street bites back. The construction is completed with ‘thick’ edges. Like the name says, they are thick. They are thick for bashing rails. Like jibbing? Like Eiki’s riding? You need a Lobster JIBBBAORD.
