Dominic Palarchio has logged a decade of Michigan Street Snowboarding with his newest video, "Character Motive". I remember Dominic as a young ripper at the local rail jams, then drawing heavy influence from the "Sooner Or Later" crew (Cameron Strand, Marie Hucal, Kevin Castanheira, etc). Earning a spot on Burton Knowbuddy's crew while still in high school and eventually landing with Public Snowboards. Dominic has a drive that is rare. He has an exacting vision and the skills both on and off the board, to bring it to life. While his fine arts sculpting career is blossoming and he is busy with gallery shows, he still found the time to make "Character Motive" last winter. Not because he is chasing...
Trevor Newman has been one of the most consistent and valuable assets to Michigan Snowboarding for well over a decade. Always pushing the visual and riding to new levels. "Germination" is his newest work and may be one of the best yet. He perfectly captures the the gritty quiet of the post-industrial snowboard playscape that make the Michigan streets one of a kind. From the well curated spots to the beautiful b-roll that transports you to their moment. Telling the story of the day in a few seconds. Trev has it figured out. He knows how to recap a season and tell the story and we are all grateful for that. Riders in order of appearance: Trevor Newman Jack...

Filmin' February 2021 Filmin' February is a Snowboard Video Contest that we started back in 2011. The idea is pretty simple. Compile the best footage of you and your friends riding in February and we will pick winners. We get some of our friends in the snowboard industry to help judge and everyone has a nice time. We had let this contest lapse for a few years, but because Covid is a huge bummer and public events are problematic, this is the perfect year to revitalize this virtual contest! There is a strong emphasis on street riding. Park edits are Ok, but you're probably not going to win with one... This is a video contest (not a best trick). Creativity,...
This past 2020 season had some huge highs and low lows. Matt Dunn kept the stoke high building the best terrain park the Michigan has ever seen! With the help of Snowboy Productions, "The Knob Project" became a reality. It brought riders and diggers from all around the country to help make the most of our endless tow rope lines. The best part is, the park was ours for the ripping all season long.
Here's the best do do it.
The man who built it.
Matt Dunn.
