Holden Outerwear 2015 / 2016
Holden Outerwear is always a favorite brand at our shop. Every detail is calculated and well thought out. From fit, to fabric, to an eco-friendlier approach to outerwear that predates the hype, Holden has innovated and carved out a unique approach to outerwear that considers, you shouldn't need to wear a snowboard costume, you're aesthetic can (and should) blend from summit to sea, seamlessly. Nice clothing is something everyone can appreciate and holden brings the best.
Snowboard jackets and pants remain Holden's primary focus. They delivered two amazing puffy down jackets this year, the most insulated being the Holden Woods Down Jacket in Black with 550g fill down feather and the respectably warm Holden Pacific down jacket in recycled poly chambray coming in at 180g of synthetic insulation (pictured above). For those looking for more of a shell, the Holden Mckinney jacket in port royal / black will have you covered in timeless snowboard styling with premium details and a perfect fit. We didn't want to leave the ladies out of the fun, so we brought in the Holden Womens Shelter drop tail parka jacket in port royal featuring 60g midweight insulation.
Holden has always pushed the fit, function of their snowboard pants. The Holden Crescent snowboard pant in olive is new for this season and pushes that mentality, proving what's old is now new. A nod to the 90's but in fabric and fit that didn't exist back then. Of course, The Holden Standard Pant in skinny fit is by far the most popular for men and women and has been the go-to skinny fit pant for nearly a decade.
Holden doesn't make clothing for just one occasion, they want it to be functional and look great in a variety of conditions. The Holden Oakwood Quilted Jacket in black transitions from the streets to the mountain seamlessly. 100grams of insulation make for a solid mid layer when it gets really cold or for more mild conditions wear it over a hoodie for that skate style on hill. For on hill to chill, the Holden Performance Sweatpants are perfect. technical fabrics make this sweatpant a cut above the rest, they will keep you dry and warm no matter what you're doing in them. Lots of loungeable layering goods for the ladies as well. Redefining what layering pieces look like, the Holden Womens Sherpa Pullover is at the forefront of fashion on and off the hill. if you prefer the timeless hoodie look, the Holden Women's Performance hoodie in indigo heather is the ticket. It much more than just a hoodie with fishtail hem detail, asym motorcycle jacket inspired zipper and buttery soft technical french terry is sure to keep you happy and dry.
