The Sector 9 Coachella Catapult Complete is one of those boards that can pretty much do everything. It’s stable, fast, easy to push, and confidence inspiring whether you’re cruising across town, bombing mellow hills, or working on stand-up slides. At 38” long with a 29” wheelbase, the Catapult has enough size to feel stable without becoming a tank to maneuver around. The symmetrical shape keeps it balanced for freeride skating and makes riding switch feel natural, while the elliptical drop down mold locks your feet in nicely during slides and hard carves.
The 10” Gullwing Reverse trucks keep the board responsive but predictable, and the 64mm Nineballs wheels roll smooth while still staying controllable when you want to break traction. Sharp rails add a little extra grip and board feel, especially when you’re leaning hard into turns or setting up for slides.
This is the kind of setup that works equally well as a daily commuter or a first serious freeride board. Super versatile without feeling boring.
